in my town there was a pickup truck with a camper hauling a trailer with 2 jet skis hijacked at gunpoint. 2 days later me and the crew headed up the hill about 6am (i used to work in the mountains) and about 4 miles up the dirt road, there it was, engine on fire. we hit the radio to call it in then we walked up to it and heard 2 dogs whining in the bed. the tailgate was locked so I grabbed an axe out of our truck and smashed the back window. dogs were perfectly fine and well behaved too lol they chilled with us till FD came. my best guess is they were trying to get to the next town through back roads and it overheated trying to climb the hill pulling a trailer so they bailed through the woods lol poor dogs though, I'm glad we found them
