An honest look at grief and how it changes you forever. The key isn't to get over it, but to accept and embrace the sadness as part of who you are now.

some people are still lucky to have their mom's, mine passed in 2001 from a sudden heart attack. ( I love you mom, please watch over Kenny and I. AMEN!😭
depends on the mother
I have always been respectful to my mother I always tell her that I love her no matter what because she is still MOMMA 🩶💚❤️🤍🖤
I lost my mom 2 years ago
Yep
Thank you very much for this post. I can relate to it So much as I am a 73 years young, 1st born son who's mother celebrated her 90th birthday in January. She doesn't have a single one of the usual suspects. You know diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. She works out at the gym 3 times a week. She's outlived 3 husbands. Has only been a hospital in-patient 4 times to give birth to 4 children and 4 times to replace both her knees and hips. THAT IS IT! She only sees a doctor zonce a year when she checks in for her annual checkup. The only pills or capsules that cross her lips are the various and sundry vitamins and supplements for about 50 years. When she started, I was one of her chief antagonist; scoffing mightily that she was surly throwing money ,away. I am so blessed to STILL have her proactively in my life. So YES, when I read this post the meaning of the word greatly increased in it's profundity. Many Thanks and God Bless.
Very true
everyone forgets the dad, anyone can be a mom...biological or not
Yes that's so true I miss my mother dearly
