my daughter too it is very painful an leaves scars. takes antibiotics can't wear deodorant I took her to a surgeon. said they couldn't fix til she got older
it sucks it's painful and it's mentally exhausting. my husband is the same way as hers. girls when you have the good one be proud not many out there anymore. the hs also makes tunnels as well I been dealing with it since I got pregnant with my oldes

My daughter has HS also it is very painful and it affects her mentally and emotionally bc she's so embarrassed by it when it's broke out. She said the smell alone will keep you from wanting to date..
if anyone has this problem one amazing thing to use is dial soap. im not saying she doesn't take shower or is nasty!!!!!! but what i am saying is her skin produces to much staff (everyone has a healthy amout of staff on their skin) but as I do she produces too much and dial soap helps cut that more than half and prevents too much being made. There are ways to take care with this condition i think.its kinda,to much for me i would have a doctor do this im sure they do or a dermatologist it's alot for anyone especially my man like nooooo the kitty is right there like yuk embarrassing
Lots of people have HS and yes it's very painful. Doctors really don't know that much about it, I pray that they can do more studies to get the right meds. to fight it. It's horrible and painful.

it's nice to have someone to help you with them because I'm 65 and I've been having them since I was 16 years old and my daughter inhered it after me and those things are so terrible and nobody knows the pain we be in when they come thanks to that I found a dermatologist that gave me something to use when they first start coming up to rub on them to make them go back down and you don't have that much pain I wish you the best with this and it don't go no further than there because I have them all over my stomach I've had them on my back I've had them in my face I've had some under my arms and on my breast I've had so many surgeries to have some of them removed God bless you and people on here saying things please be respectable because if you never had it never know when someone is going to be mindful because please believe me we be uncomfortable when they come on us just pray that he gets better for her I pray everyday for me and my daughter

I ask because an 83 yo cousin of mine shared with ne an outbreak of clear blisters that he had developed on his upper inner thigh, that as they burst they continue to multiply. The doctors dont what it is and are running tests...is this the same as what I'm seeing here? please advise asap...

HS can be very debilitating. There is a great doctor at UofM Fairview on fulton St in Minneapolis that has done wonders. She started at Mayo Clinic with the infusions, but after about 2 years, her body seemed to not accept the treatment. Then, she was told by someone to try that clinic. He told her she had 3 different types of HS. 6 months later, She is moving like it was all a nightmare and she woke now.
