In some states, if you take the mother to court after you find out, you are not the father they can take the responsibility off of you. I feel it’s worth trying If you are not the father.
That law needs to changed. After a DNA reveals you're not the pappy that certificate should be null & voided. Women just pick the man they love the most or who has the biggest bank to pluck a baby on. No telling how many brothers & sisters are married or sleeping together - especially in smaller towns. That woman would go to her grave with that secret. Everytime she catches her man cheating she's going to get that lick back but you'll never know UNTIL DNA CAME TO LIFE.

I went through the same thing but when I asked for a blood test they no longer try to get me for child support the twins still got my name on the birth certificate it also depends on where you at I'm in DC so law different but once I got that blood test I was no longer responsible for any payments she was getting from the government
