They did many tests for years throughout elementary, middle and high schools in the USA. One was an IQ. And if your child was struggling and needed any additional support in school, yes they did IQ testing and many other types of testing. Someone with DYSLEXIA , ADHD, ADD, COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT, OPPOSITIONAL DEFIANCE DISORDER… and many other diagnoses, ALL recorded IQ SCORES. He definitely fit into several of these categories and received below average. His father did his best to cover up his boys shortcomings, even paying to falsify records to keep him from the draft. Being deceptive, manipulating, dishonest, doesn’t mean you are smart. Repeating the lie will never make it a truth.
