2 steps and a football move is the minimum necessary to calling a touchdown. An extension of the arms can constitute a football move. by catching the ball then extending the arms and taking 2 steps he fulfilled the requirements necessary. which is why people are saying its a catch. NY review got this one wrong plain and simple.

sorry that's a touchdown. if not that's B's bc some guys don't even step in the end zone and hit the end zone marker and they call it a touchdown. also when someone catches it in the end zone or sidelines both there feet have to touch inbounds and that looks like inbounds to me in the end zone.

Looks like a catch to me but all the receiver had to do was pull the ball into his body so the defender couldn’t have knocked it out. You’d think an NFL player would know that but I guess it’s looks cooler to hold it out away from his body!

It is not a touchdown because the bookies running the NFL now needed Pittsburgh to win the game. Therefore the legitimate touchdown was called back. Major league sports in general are now controlled out of Las Vegas and the sports books.
The ref apologized for the call being reversed. Everyone involved (opposing players , refs and commentators) believe it was a touchdown. Only NFL NYC stands by this outcome. NFL is rigged.

The rule is to secure the ball two feet down and a football move like a step. He catches. He gets two feet down. Then before his first step after two feet down, the ball comes out. I think the confusion is that people think his two feet down constitutes a step. He has to make the football move, a step, after the two feet are down.
