No, the increase in women's life expectancy over the past 70 years is not because more women are single today. In fact, the evidence points in the opposite direction for most studies: married women (and people in general) tend to have slightly higher life expectancy than unmarried ones, though the "marriage advantage" is often smaller for women than for men, and some research even suggests single women can fare better in certain health or happiness metrics.
