You have to apply some type of hair grease use tissue or a paper towel to hold underneath the hair while pulling the hot comb through the hair to the end of the hair. The comb has to he hot enough as well. Use the tissue/paper towel to test the heat. If it scorches the paper, it's too hot.

The back of the comb is what actually straightens the hair just running the comb through (especially the first time) will not give you the results you’re looking for. So do what you were just twist your wrist so the back of the comb glides over the hair.

It's not hot enough. Put it on 450°.Your hair is too thick for a lower temperature. I prefer the old-fashioned ones that you heat on the stove.

no no no...use a very good electric one with heat at 410. spray heat protector and make sure to part small pieces layed against the back of the comb. use a wash cloth layed against the comb on the other side. you have too much product. make sure to shampoo good and rinse well.👍
