As an adult people need to realize that everyone has to settle. Not in a sense of "less than" but more so settle for a different expectation. because this kind of thinking is usuall because of u realistic expectations. U could literally miss out on the love of ur life because ur were expecting them to be already perfect when u met them but had u allowed them to grow and learn everything about u they could have been just that.
Gonna be a ton of orphaned elderly...no kids no partner.....better get them nursing homes ready....
Some folks are missing the point she is at a point in her life that she is not gonna to settle for less because she hasn't had any children or a mate this isn't defining her this is her story and everyone has their own story where you are in life and what your goals are and what you will allow or not allow to be a part of your life or lifestyle

It's almost late. She waited for too long trying to select Mr Right. With her privileged upbringing, finding a mate ought not to be that difficult. There is nobody that you will get together with that's not going to have some shot coming. If what is desirable is not available, what is available for to be desirable. Having a spouse and children is full of twists and turns. Keep searching because you are a beautiful and talented person.

Tracee Ellis is brave, and self aware. Lots of young women dream of there wedding and what their life will be like when they grow up. I’m glad that Tracee is honest and insightful about living her life without children or the wrong partner. She has standards and refused to lower her standards to accommodate or settle for the wrong person or any person just for the sake of being in a relationship. Lots of people settle and end up with someone who doesn’t make their life better. It takes a lot of courage to live life as a single person versus having someone to share with you or shield you from life’s challenges. Although I’m married for almost 40yrs I completely understand what she is saying.
Picking a partner is not about finding everything you look for in a partner. We all are flawed individuals. You look at a person' s character and make a decision whether those character flaws are tolerable or not. And in particular, if you are a believer, put your trust in faith in Good to lead you to the right person🙏.

I think any single person who has matured can understand what she’s saying. The importance of having a good partner, versus just having a partner. The questions that run in the back of your head about the choices you made, and how they affect your life. Well, she didn’t come out directly and say it she implied strongly that these were her choices, and she lives by them. Good or bad. She makes some very good points in this interview. She didn’t blame anyone for where she has ended up in life at this point. That is something that should be encouraged whether you’re in a relationship or not. Other than that, I don’t know anything about her. So she could be a really good person, or a total dirtbag. I don’t know, but this is definitely a positive for her in my view.
I've never had a problem dating but I had to learn how to choose quality & did. I couldn't imagine not being a mom & wife but I would NEVER settle if I didn't. Misery is not happiness.
