Men, please only give reference to the type of women that you chose to date. Nine times out of 10 you did run into an appreciative black woman but because she didn't look like what your preference type is you didn't give them the time of day. As an appreciative black woman I wouldn't care if we went to Denny's or the cheesecake factory I will be glad to be out and about with my man no matter where he takes me. Not only that If we are building together and making investments then yes we are absolutely going to have to live on a budget. A lot of these men don't even take women on dates anymore in the black community so going somewhere on a budget is fine with me. There is nothing wrong with going somewhere that is not high in price or extremely extravagant. Just take accountability for the type of women that "you" chose to date because not all black women are in the category or group that a lot of black men put us in. I will go ahead and say it. I've dated plenty of black Americans from 13 to 43 and I married a Trinidadian. I can while healthy say that our black American women have lost the reality of what to do and/or how to keep a man. These other women in the world ARE doing better. sorry but the truth hurts. I go to other countries and yes, they treat you better.

The media sets the standard for how young men and women present themselves. Rap music, social media, movies, and reality television promote bling, money bags, and promiscuity. This behavior can be found amongst all nationalities however it is more prevalent in the black culture because they are viewed as the example.
