Hey guys, saltwater aquarium enthusiast here. So this particular fish is a copperband butterfly fish, and typically range in price from $30-$80. In my personal opinion, this fish is being fed to the anemone either due to shock from entering the tank and not making it, or was sick and he couldn’t treat it.

That is a carpet anemone and they have one of the worst stings of any anemone it can be kept by hobbyist. in fact if you were to brush up against it it would latch onto your arm and deliver a nasty thing to you. it wouldn't be able to eat you or anything like that but it would definitely let you know it was there. it would feel like about a thousand bee stings basically.
