Shoot it I know that sounds harsh, but this animal is staked your land as itβs territory that means any animal you have it is considered his if you have little dogs hell if you have a little child and they become this kind of territorial, you have to get rid of them I live in the mountains. I deal with them all the time Iβve had to drop two of them and my dogs gotten one of them. They will stay there and hunt on your property until theyβre stopped so I know it sounds harsh unless you donβt mind, youβve got to drop that cat.

I'm so sorry that your chickens were killed by this wild, large bobcat. I am concerned about how little protection there appears to be around the area where your chickens were housed. It seems that your property is far enough out into an area where you share over-lapping land with wild animals that you wouldn't normally see roaming in areas where there are more people. I hope that animal wildlife people are able to remove him from your property and relocate it to an area further away and maybe they can help give you some ideas on how you can find ways to prevent things like this from happening again by making some changes on your property and your chicken coop? Yep, Iβve been there. He will not stop only escalate until they are all gone then move on to cats dogs songbirds or whatever else he can find. A full grown one, especially large males, will even attempt to get small children and babies. Itβs best to take matters into your own hands. You could always have a taxidermist mount him and donate it to a school.
