its "good training" until its not. had a pit who was trained and mauled my daughter for absolutely no reason whatsoever!!!! There was no abuse, just literally turned on her for nothing! Had I not been there my baby probably would have died. Even still she lost a good portion of her arm and now we both have PTSD! So F pitbulls

Great job momma!!! It’s not about risks / chances it’s ALL training. Some of these comments are beyond ignorant. Dogs period can / will react to other dogs being territorial stop with the pit bull stigma. Again it’s not the breed it’s always the owner / training or lack thereof

Wow I wish everyone could teach their dogs this! He said I just wanted to play mom! My neighbors pitbull gets out everyday and scares my kids he chases my kids all the way in our house he has came in my house after them. Amazing job lady!

this is not a good dog owner. so in order for her 80 lb Pitbull to not attack and Shred apart another dog or child she has to Superman lunge in front of it to stop it? what if she was pulling weeds 10 ft further away? that dog would have just charged. PSA if you have an aggressive dog that is not trained to stay on your property. then don't have it off leash. I open carry when I am walking my dog. I don't want to kill a dog but I will kill somebody else's dog trying to kill mine.

That's how unpredictable pits are. People will defend them with, OH they're safe; mine plays with my baby; it depends on how they're treated, etc. - But they can get triggered at an instant. And once they dig in they won't listen to NOTHING!
yeah, she got it stopped. she shouldn't be commended tho, because the FACT of the matter is, if she didn't dive to where she DID, that dog was NOT going to stop. 💯 sure of it. she literally saved things at THEE last second, because whatever was in the background had TRIGGERED the dog, and it was READY to go after it!
