How sweetShe's one of them. Part of the family. I once had a cat who I had to hold before leaving the house. She wouldn't let me go. She would growl a little and dig her nails in my shoulders whenever I'd try to put her down. Spoiled little thing she was.

I especially love seeing how they react to tiny babies and how they interact with preschoolers from behind glass. They're SO smart, and so similar to humans in many ways. To watch them use sign language & develop a limited, but very intentional vocabulary is truly amazing to me! SO fascinating to watch them learn... especially when an iPad is introduced and used to teach! Just too cool! 💕

One Woman that loved gorilla’s and did this same thing had her face torn off and almost died! She did not see it coming after years of being close to them. She had years of plastic surgery, lost her sight completely in one eye. The other eye had been spared somewhat. Her hearing was damaged and she later had cochlear’s put in. Now she visits these animals while they are in a cage. These are animals, and should be respected as that!
