I adopted a little guy from the Humane Society that was terrified. He was so abused and now he’s the most loving little guy ever seen.

I just adopted a 4 yr old poodle found on the side of the road in Tennessee with her 4 pups. She was terrified for a couple months clearly abused! But now it’s 5 months later and she’s the most gentle loving dog I ever met!

Same for me. I adopted an abandoned puppy from the Humane Society. I had a heck of a time getting rid of his worms. He and his siblings were abandoned on a porch in a cardboard box. Extremely shy. Scared to death of cardboard boxes. Best dog ever. I love him to pieces. He took some work, but he is exactly what we needed.

The best dog I ever had the pleasure to know was a shelter dog. I chose her because when the other dogs would wag their tails and look interested, she just laid there. She noticed us, but she had just about lost hope. That dog was very protective of me, and although she did not try to hurt my husband, she would wedge herself between us and sit quietly. This was almost 50 years ago, and I miss Aasha to this day!
