I was born in the 50s and grew up in the 60s and nobody could get married back then without taking a blood test because it was known, so many people was marrying their brothers, Sisters and first cousins.

How did they find out? They dated for three years. Did they introduce each other to their families? In the African American community the first thing the elders do is ask, "Who are your people?" This would have come out at the wedding. You all got married and had your first child in the same year 2011. You guys must have met and dated away from home in a different state. Take the people you are dating HOME to meet your family. Especially your parents and grandparents. For three years did you ever sit down and talk? Real talk. Where are you from? Who are your parents? Do you have any brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles. I'm not judging but apparently you all became physical fairly quickly. You guys had to meet in the service unless one of you were given up for adoption and no one knew. This kind of situation happens more than we know especially in families who want to keep a pure bloodline.

Despite this very sad and unfortunate situation and why they didn't find out before they were married, I would have kept it to myself. Only God and them needed to know this situation....not the whole world to judge. It has to be devastating, but It's done now and I hope the children are ok. Although they look alike and should have been asking questions about that. At the end of the day, they only have to answer to God, knowing or unknowingly. 🙏

And iv always respected him for that shi because during the talking stages iv found a few cuzns and a sister in law!!!
