I was born in the 50s and grew up in the 60s and nobody could get married back then without taking a blood test because it was known, so many people was marrying their brothers, Sisters and first cousins.
This is why I stress to my Sons to go to family reunions , cause they don’t know what their grandfather or dad were doing out in the streets, I know a couple like that and chose to stay married they said they lived each other, that’s nasty to me and thank Gid they don’t have children.

a lot of people on here are judging, but how do you know one of them were not put up for adoption and didn't know kin and you are sitting there saying while you should have known their family! they look the same blah blah blah this that and the other thing. this is an unfortunate situation and position that they have been put in. at the same time I'm sure they love each other purely. so what is the resolution to that? fact is none of this is their fault! they were just two people who fell in love. so where do you move from there and I'm sure the situation was devastating to them when they heard about it. so people shouldn't sit there and judge these people!!!

How did they find out? They dated for three years. Did they introduce each other to their families? In the African American community the first thing the elders do is ask, "Who are your people?" This would have come out at the wedding. You all got married and had your first child in the same year 2011. You guys must have met and dated away from home in a different state. Take the people you are dating HOME to meet your family. Especially your parents and grandparents. For three years did you ever sit down and talk? Real talk. Where are you from? Who are your parents? Do you have any brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles. I'm not judging but apparently you all became physical fairly quickly. You guys had to meet in the service unless one of you were given up for adoption and no one knew. This kind of situation happens more than we know especially in families who want to keep a pure bloodline.

Despite this very sad and unfortunate situation and why they didn't find out before they were married, I would have kept it to myself. Only God and them needed to know this situation....not the whole world to judge. It has to be devastating, but It's done now and I hope the children are ok. Although they look alike and should have been asking questions about that. At the end of the day, they only have to answer to God, knowing or unknowingly. 🙏

And iv always respected him for that shi because during the talking stages iv found a few cuzns and a sister in law!!! Couldn’t make this shi up if I wanted to fr, so it’s hard for me to believe they were together for 13yrs and not even a joke has been made, or statement from a family member!
