Here's what happened according to Google: A school bus driver named Stewart O'Leary in Bellevue, Washington, was hit in the chest by a piece of metal that crashed through the bus windshield on February 7, 2025, while driving the North Creek High School girls basketball team to a game. O'Leary was injured but managed to keep the bus under control, and with the help of two coaches, safely pulled it to the shoulder. He was treated at the hospital for a severe chest bruise and cuts from glass and returned to work less than a week later. Details of the Incident: What happened: A metal bar or projectile, possibly a leaf spring from another vehicle, smashed through the windshield of the bus O'Leary was driving.

We were driving on the PA Turnpike when a 18 wheeler passed us and I saw a metal rod flying through the air directly towards our windshield. There was no way to avoid it. My two kids were in the back seat, my husband driving. I just yelled βJesusβ and closed my eyes, waiting to be killed. Nothing happened! The rod flew inches over us. I looked back to see what happened to the car behind us and they were ok too. When you think youβre going to die, donβt use the F word or other cuss words. I know without a doubt, when I called the Lords name a miracle happened. ππΌ

I used to be a school bus driver & what that man did was heroic! To take such a hard hit without panicking, is real lesson that we should all think about. As to how we are treating each other, & the lessons we are teaching the next Generation. He could have just as easily lost control of the bus, & not a single person could've blamed him in the least. With the fear that you can easily see in his reactions. But he didn't, he showed restraint & controlled the bus. Yes he had help there at the end. So when you loose your shit because someone said this or someone did that. What pain did you actually feel? None, THE HATE AROUND THIS COUNTRY NEEDS TO STOP!!
