years ago I was fishing off the coast of France the weather was foggy and rainy, suddenly there was a wave so big it almost made me sea sick ,but being the sailor I was of 42 years I was only turning white with some froth coming out my mouth and nose. the next wave totally took me by surprise .I looked over tomy 1st mate and said son what is for lunch. he said you know what we always have is shit on a shingle .I told him I would pass lunch, and to tell me what was for supper he went down to the galley came back and said tuna sandwiches with chips. I told him to call door dash for an order of tacos with hot sauce and a dr pepper with a slice of lime now for you people that have read my story this far you should now realize it is totally not true and I apologize for waisting your 3 minutes of time. unless you can't read too good it might of took you 5 min........the end

that's how you are supposed to load your boat on trailer, you back trailer down in water, you then come in at a decent rate of speed, enough that from the momentum your boat will wind up halfway or more up the trailer and you can then hook the rope on and pull with winch all the way up. Ideally you should not have to turn the winch very much to finish job. I don't know any other way you would do it honestly.
