I was a crew chief on a CH47 CHINOOK super c model , and I flew with Vietnam era pilots while stationed in South Korea 1980 81 with no FAA to speak of at the time there and I swear they can make that well tuned machine, maintained by 18 to20something year old soldiers do maneuvers you wouldn't believe, the auto rotation is my favorite.
