I’m not someone trying to change the entire world, but I do care deeply about people and animals. My heart has always been drawn to compassion, kindness, and the hope for a more peaceful world one without hunger, cruelty, or neglect. Though I know such a world may never fully exist, I still believe in doing my part to make a difference, no matter how small. I’ve always cherished my family and friends and would do almost anything for them. This year, I experienced the unbearable pain of losing my daughter, an ache that has forever changed me. Because of that loss, I carry an even greater empathy for others who have faced the same unimaginable heartbreak. We only have one life, and I want mine to mean something good. I want to leave this world knowing that I gave my best by caring for others, extending kindness wherever I could, and helping both people and animals in need. Even if I can’t fix everything, I can still give love, hope, and compassion and to me, that’s what truly matters.
