James Howlett, aka The Wolverine

I was born in Alberta, Canada in the late 19th century. I fought in WWI and WWII, among other major conflicts. Due to my regenerative healing factor I have a significantly longer life span and slow aging process. I was captured by a secret super soldier program in Canada that subjected me to brutal experimentation. As a result, I have my entire skeletal system bonded with an indestructible metal called Adamantium. Each of my forearms are three, one foot long retractable razor sharp claws, made of Adamantium that I use while engaged in hand to hand combat. I have 2 children, Daken and Laura (X-23) I joined the XMEN in 1975. I dislike Deadpool and his educated wishes, although we have worked together in the past. I enjoy drinking and I prefer to be alone most of the time.
