Most Holy Theotokos, Virgin full of grace,chosen from all generations to become the living Temple of the Most High,we fall before you with hearts overflowing in thanksgiving.We thank you, O pure Mother, for your holy obedience,for your humble “yes” that opened the heavensand brought forth for us the Light of the world.Through you, the Uncontainable was contained;through you, the Word took flesh and dwelt among us;through you, Christ our God was given to the world for its salvation.
